KICKING OFF WITH WELCOMING SPACE & SILENCE
1.2
PROTECTING YOUR ATTENTION
Today is your opportunity to make space for your silence.
Take note of what you focus on throughout the next few days. What are you consuming (intentionally and accidentally)? How does each thing make you feel? Do it add to or deplete your energy?
Here’s some suggestions:
Unfollow anyone and everyone who might make you feel bored/deflated/generally shitty.
Limit passive consumption (i.e. watching tv for the sake of it and all that habitual endless scrolling)
Sit in the silence
Sweet babe, I’m inviting you to get quiet and listen to yourself.
With less consumption here’s some fresh space to create - and, remember, part of the creative process includes rest and processing.
Get your notebook out!

1.4
RICH RESOURCES OF CONSUMPTION
Your attention is a precious commodity.
After cleansing out your zone of attention (through all that unfollowing and quiet-welcoming) you can now welcome some fresh and rich sources of input. Think the juicy stuff that makes you feel excited about being alive, the kind of things that spark your energy, that bring you joy, that teach and expand you.
Not everything you allow into your range of attention has to be educational or aim to serve a specific “purpose” - in fact, this is a quick way to drain your energy and burn yourself out!
What feeds you can serve so many purposes! Sure, it’s beautiful to learn new things and expand our thinking but this kind of input can come in a million different ways, think beyond the typical if you’re prone to reading only non-fiction books and watching TEDx talks (hi, I’m talking v much to myself here).
Before throwing any old thing on Netflix or passively scrolling hours away on Instagram, ask yourself:
How do you want to feel?
You wanna raise your mood and feel good? What makes you laugh your arse off?!
You wanna feel inspired af? Read the autobiography or watch a doc about one of your heroes - or even someone you don’t know much about. I’ve been inspired by people’s lives I hadn’t even known about before!
Create a running list of books and movies you want to soak up. That way you have a rich list ready and waiting for you! (I’ve included some of my faves under this modules bonuses).
The goal here is to provide yourself with optimum creative fuel.
What you consume has the power to energise or drain you. It’s the same with food, right? Sure, some “trash tv/junk food” is exactly what you need at times but if you give it to yourself every day you’re gonna be feeling sluggish and drained quick sharp!
Give your brain what it craves!

RECORD YOUR DESIRES
With all this quiet, space, and richness of resources (!!!) you’ll be becoming more in tune with your thoughts, feelings and desires.
Here’s some q’s for you to journal on.
1.6
SIMPLIFY YOUR DAYS
This is your invitation to un-complicate.
That 10-step morning routine? Slice it down to the simplest possible option filled only with the things you really want to be doing.
Do one thing at a time throughout your day. With your undivided attention.
Really make your coffee when you’re making your coffee. Really read the words and feel the paper when you’re holding the book in your hand.
Multi-tasking and dividing your attention will only lead to you feel exhausted and distracted.
Basically, do less and be intentional AF about it.
